JoyGrip Products

Our only product is the JoyGrip, a bicycle handlebar grip made from reclaimed/upcycled teak wood. We produce one product as we are convinced that this is the best design and engineering for its purpose.

• Great feel of the wood with perfect surface structure and no varnish or paint. We only use teak sealer as used on teak boat decks to make an already virtally indestructable wood even more resilient.
• A flexible tape core that will help dampen vibrations. This is the first design to introduce a flexible core and it makes a difference.
• We do not glue the grip and we don't use metal cartridges. There are no screws directly connected to the grips. Rather, we pull a metal wire (standard brake wire) through the handlebar and screw metal stoppers at both ends.
• This makes the JoyGrip easy to install and also quite easy to remove (but not so easy as to invite theft).
